Description

I could not do a lot of different things with my previous camera, so this serie belongs my first experiments with the new camera. That includes both learning to shoot new things, learning a new camera, and lastly learning new kinds of edits. So, here it is, this is my first proper flower shot.

Hi everyone
This is the first day I've had any time for playing with the camera since last time. Again, the photo has it's flaws, so please bare with me while I'm learning. Despite of that I hope there'll be someone who likes it : )
(I'm really longing for a macro lens. These flowers are so tiny still, that it was hard to get any detail off them with the standard lens :hmm:)

Camera: Canon EOS 600D
Lens: EF-S 18-55 mm IS II

This is absolutely beautiful, very nice work!
The colors are stunning, the cold lilac tone of the crocus combined with the dark green of the grass around it really gives this picture some deep. The focus is flawless as well, it makes the flower pop out of the picture and it draws the viewer's eye to it.
Once again, very nice work!
I don't really have anything in particular to say what you can improve about this picture, but maybe that the flower should be placed more in the middle of the picture, so you have as much green at the bottom as the top. I am not really sure of that though.
But congratulations to a great picture!
