Unfortunately, I only have a compact camera. Saving for a good camera, which will come shortly. So no bad words about that please, bare with me One does what one can, with what you have.

My thoughts of the photo
There are many aspects I like of this photo. First would be all the shadow details. Starting with the strong shadow of his head & ears, which seems to fade half way, only to create new shadows of his extremely long whiskers. All reconnecting on the very left side, both by his body, his paw, and as the final touch, from his whiskers. I also feel as if the whiskers and his paw almost goes/lays in sync. Another big shadow aspect that I think is important, is how it's a small light beige shadow of him, and a small dark one near his body, sort of end at his paw.
Another aspect is how very white the background is, while the 'shadow' is slightly beige. Love the combination of these colours in this scenery. His ear creates a breaking point between the two colours. Without his ear breaking like this, there's a huge loss of geometric feel. All in all, a photo filled with details and intentions. Despite the first feel of 'whiteness', it has a lot of color details, in my opinion.

Story
As me and my boyfriend moved in to our new apartment here, we came across this cat very often in the stairs etc. He was always a true cuddle monster and followed us everywhere we allowed him to. Eventually that resulted in him wanting to come inside with us. But as he wasn't ours, we tried to not allow that, to not tick the owner off. But this was impossible. As soon as we'd come home, he was infront of our front door, trying to squeeze his head in through the door the moment we unlocked it. Eventually we just gave up and let him be with us inside. Even though we didn't feed him in the start, he slept here nearly every night, and spent most of his days here. Over time, we felt we had to start feeding him (Would be cruel not to?), and he really became ours. He comes and goes as he wishes through our windows haha (We have the kind you tilt outwards in the top, and it's a bit over 2 meter up there). He's an insane jumper!
He's the most loyal and special cat I've ever seen. He really follows us everywhere. When we go out on the street for example to meet friends, he follows us through the stairs, and sits with us on the sidewalk until we're ready to head back in. Doesn't matter what weather it is, even in the most unreal rain he patiently sits there. Our kitty
Some other real cute things he does is, if it's food time (For our kitten), and I open the door to call for him, he actually comes when you call for him! Also when we randomly go outside, he mostly hears us and comes running as fast as he can, and greets us warmly each time with many many mjew's.
