Description
As this photo is taken with a compact camera, I choose to put the focus on the tree on the left hand side. I already had the theme "When evil arrives" back then. So by setting the focus there, it'd give the birds a blurred effect, to simulate them literally fleeing for their lives, from the evil arriving.
I very much like that the clouds are red, as it's a dark picture, so the darkness and red fits the theme very well.

Overall Vision Originality Technique ImpactThis is an amazing photograph. The trees seem to resemble scraggly, evil hands reaching out, trying to grab the birds as they attempt an escape. The blurring is impressive and really adds a fast, speedy and tense feeling to the image. The clouds look almost bloodstained and tainted with evil, and the overall quality of the image is very well done.
Personally, I think that it would have looked better without the border; a borderless image would have been better. Also, I'm glad that there are no trees up front other than the ones on the left, because that would have made it less enjoyable.
It's a very nice and impressive photograph, though. Great job!
